The year may be coming to an end, but that has not stopped the rollout of new brands, products, and collaborations. This week, three high-powered collaborations are unveiled, including MAC Cosmetics' 2021 Viva Glam collaboration.

UN/DN LAQR: Colson Baker, aka Machine Gun Kelly, was a pioneer in leading the nail art trend within the menswear and grooming categories before it was a trending topic. Known for defying norms and standards for self-expression, he's gained recognition for his personal style since his industry debut almost a decade ago. The play on words of "UN/DN" suggests an unraveling and undoing of typical norms and hyper-feminine stereotypes, paving the way for a generation of new brands to create a safe space for beauty exploration for all. Incubator Unlisted Brand Lab has partnered with Machine Gun Kelly, overseeing strategic direction and executive production of the brand.

Aio: Procter & Gamble and A.S. Watson Group have co-created a Japanese-inspired skincare brand available in Watsons stores in the Greater China markets. The brand has launched with one hero product designed for simplicity. Super Essence is a matcha-colored jelly-like texture with the relaxing smell of Kyoto woods and formulated with a proprietary Oxyniacine formula with B3 niacinamide and vitamin E. The brand's packaging is fully recyclable, making it eligible to be listed as a Clean Beauty product under Watsons Sustainable Choices platform.

Evolvetogether: Known for its medical face masks that have become the go-to for celebrities and the fashion set, Evolvetogether. a lifestyle brand with the goal of making well-made (and well-loved) daily essentials, enters the personal care category. The brand is launching a sustainable collection focused on form and function that includes a Natural Deodorant, Refillable Hand Sanitizer, and Hydrating Hand Cream priced between $21 and $23.

M.A.C Viva Glam x Keith Haring: Marking 27 years of raising money for HIV/AIDS awareness and treatment, M.A.C Viva Glam's 2021 annual collaboration partners with the Keith Haring Foundation. The product collab consists of three lipsticks in matte and frost finishes: Red Haring, Canal Blue, and St. Marks Yellow, based on the late pop artist's signature primary color palette. The packaging is based on Haring's symbolic street-style imagery. Each product will retail for $19 with 100% of sales being donated to the M.A.C. Viva Glam Fund, which has raised over $500,000,000 since its inception.

Spencer x MyBeautyBrand Plexiglass Illuminator: The UK-based beauty collaboration platform's latest partnership is with PaintedBySpencer, a self-made professional makeup artist with Cuban-American roots known for his incredible makeup transformations. Since starting his YouTube in May 2020, he has racked up over 22 million views, with more than 400K subscribers. The product is a brightening primer and highlighter in one—a holy grail skin and makeup hybrid created with the best of South Korean science and innovation.

Amorepacific x BTS Lip Sleeping Mask: The K-beauty giant joined forces with K-pop phenomenon BTS to release a limited-edition version of its global best-selling product Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. The product is a sweet "Gummy Bear" scent that reinforces the “Sweet Purple Dreams” theme, while the packaging reflects BTS' tour artwork.

Kiramoon: The indie skincare brand has added cleansing to its assortment of hero products with the launch of Silkie Rinse ($28), a gentle hydrating cleanser formulated with Ceramides, Squalene, Cabbage Rose Water, and Raspberry Extract to support a healthy skin balance.

Athena Club: Just in time for the holidays, the brand expands into fragrance with a range of "Scent the Mood" Natural Wax Candles in four evocative fragrances featuring a luxurious blend of natural waxes with a burn time of 60 hours and priced at $38 each.

Dr Dennis Gross Skincare: The newest addition to the brand's retinol category is an intensely hydrating wrinkle treatment formulated with a proprietary Phyto-Retinol Blend of retinol, bakuchiol, rambutan, and ferulic acid. Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Intense Wrinkle Cream ($75) repairs the moisture barrier while diminishing fine lines and wrinkles for a visibly lifted look. Available at Sephora in January 2022.
